Refund Policy – Internship Program (As per NEP 2020)
This internship program is conducted in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which mandates experiential learning and internships as part of the undergraduate curriculum.
1. Registration & Administrative Charges
The registration and administrative fee paid at the time of enrollment is non-refundable, as it covers documentation, onboarding, mentoring allocation, and academic coordination.
2. Withdrawal Before Internship Commencement
If a student withdraws before the official start date of the internship, a refund of up to 80% of the internship fee may be granted.
A written request must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the commencement date.
3. After Internship Commencement
No refund shall be provided once the internship has commenced, as academic credits, mentoring, and learning resources are activated.
This applies even if the student does not attend sessions, fails to submit assignments, or discontinues participation.
4. Credit-Based Internship Compliance
Since the internship carries academic credits (as per NEP 2020 guidelines), discontinuation or withdrawal after commencement may result in loss of credits, and no fee refund shall be applicable.
5. Discontinuation Due to Student Reasons
No refund will be issued for withdrawal due to personal reasons, academic workload, examinations, health issues, or lack of participation.
6. Disciplinary Action
If a student is removed from the internship due to misconduct, indiscipline, plagiarism, or violation of institutional or internship guidelines, no refund shall be granted.
7. Internship Cancellation by Organizing Body
In the rare event that the internship is cancelled by the organizing institution or partner organization, a full refund of the paid internship fee will be issued.
8. Force Majeure
No refunds shall be applicable in case of interruptions due to circumstances beyond control, including natural disasters, government orders, pandemic-related restrictions, or technical failures.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days through the original mode of payment.
10. Authority & Amendments
The organizing institution reserves the right to amend this refund policy in accordance with NEP 2020, UGC, University, or State Government guidelines.
The decision of the institution shall be final and binding.
